Move-Out Procedures for Hager Rental Management, LLC

  1. Tenant must be in compliance with all conditions of the Lease Agreement
  2. Remove all food, debris, and other personal belongings.
  3. Clean (and defrost if necessary) refrigerator.
  4. Replace burned out light bulbs. We will charge $5.00 per bulb to replace.
  5. Be sure grounds and lawn are trimmed, clean, and free of weeds
  6. Report any and all damages in writing.
  7. Pay the last month’s rent in full. Rent will be prorated once keys are returned and prorated rent will be returned to tenant.
  8. Security deposit will only be used for damages; it is not to be used to pay the last month’s rent.
  9. Pay in full current and delinquent rent, legal fees, and late fees.
  10. Completely clean the apartment/ home: carpet, vinyl, tile, stove top, oven, oven hood, appliances, cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, garage, and deck.
  11. Remove all personal belongings and trash from the apartment, yard, deck, and patio.
  12. Set heat to 60 degrees during cold months and the air to 75 during warm months.
  13. Fully secure the unit by locking all doors and windows.
  14. Return keys to Hager Rental and provide a forwarding address. Rent will continue until keys are returned to our office.
